Welcome to
Laboratory Course "PhysicalChemistryLab"
Laboratory Course "PhysicalChemistryLab"
In order to successfully complete the course, you have to
- prepare for 2 lab experiments and pass the corresponding online tests
- perform these 2 lab experiments (either in the lab or virtually) and evaluate the results
- submit 2 lab reports and get certificates for each of the reports.

Instructions for writing a lab report
A lab report is a document that should allow an expert to completely recreate and evaluate your experiment.
The lab report must be submitted in XLS format (EXCEL). The first page consists of a standard cover sheet, which can be copied from the script.
The lab report must include all contents required in the cover sheet, in particular:
- tables (numbered, all quantities with units)
- diagrams (numbered, labeled according to DIN, with units)
- equations used
- example calculations (incl. units)

Include the final results on the cover sheet with a standard deviation ("error") and a reasonable number of significant digits
